Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated on 24.04.2025.

As Esatlas Engineering, we prioritize digital accessibility to ensure that all users – including individuals with disabilities – have equal access to our website. In this context, we are committed to designing and developing our website in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 standards published by the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium).

What is web accessibility

An accessible site allows all visitors with disabilities to navigate through pages with the same or similar ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can only be achieved through the capacity of the system and assistive technologies that operate the site.

Accessibility adjustments on this site

Our website aims to be WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliant. In this context:

  • Perceptibility: All content is supported by visual and written formats; alternative text (alt text) is used in visuals.

  • Usability: The site is fully accessible not only with a mouse but also with a keyboard. Form fields, links and buttons are structured according to the keyboard order.

  • Understandability: The language structure is designed to be simple and clear, and auxiliary texts and error messages are placed in the form fields.

  • Robustness: The content has been developed to work with different browsers and assistive technologies (e.g. screen readers).

Implemented Technical Improvements

  • HTML5 semantic tag structure (<header>, <nav>, <main>, <footer>)

  • Access descriptions with ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) tags

  • Colour contrast ratios have been tested to a minimum of 4.5:1 in accordance with WCAG 2.1 AA level

  • Ease of mobile access with responsive design

  • Use of descriptive alt text to avoid loss of meaning in visual content

  • Keyboard accessible navigation menu

  • Form tags (<label>) are defined correctly and error feedback is compatible with screen readers.

Testing Processes and Monitoring

Our website is evaluated for accessibility at regular intervals using both manual testing and automated tools (e.g.: WAVE, Axe, Lighthouse).
